Most cleansing waters aim at gentleness alone, which leaves oily and blemish-prone skin choosing between a cleanser that respects the barrier and one that actually addresses sebum. This does both. Niacinamide at 1,000ppm works alongside zinc PCA, an ingredient with in-vivo testing showing a statistically significant reduction in sebum production after 28 days of use, to regulate oil rather than just remove it.

The pH sits deliberately on the acidic side so the skin is not left alkaline and vulnerable after cleansing, which is where a lot of post-wash tightness and reactivity comes from. Around the oil-control core, madecassoside and allantoin handle soothing, while sodium hyaluronate and panthenol keep the skin hydrated through the wash. The formula runs to just 16 ingredients, is clinically tested as non-irritating, and has completed eye irritation testing, so it is safe to use right up to the lash line.
