Heartleaf 87 Low pH Deep Cleansing Water
For gentle one-step makeup removal on sensitive skin.
The cleansing water from Anua, built on the same Ulleungdo heartleaf that made the brand famous. Ulleungdo is a remote volcanic island off the east coast of Korea, and the heartleaf grown there is harvested through eco-friendly methods and tested at 2.06 times more effective at soothing skin than standard extracts. Here it makes up 87 percent of the formula, replacing the purified water base most cleansing waters run on.
The cleansing itself works through fluid micellar technology, which lifts makeup and impurities without any of the rubbing or scrubbing that usually irritates reactive skin. Tested at 94.92 percent makeup removal efficiency, including stubborn mascara, which is genuinely high for a one-step water. The pH sits deliberately on the acidic side to match the natural acid mantle, so the skin is not left alkaline and vulnerable after cleansing. Plant-derived squalane and panthenol handle the moisture side, which is why there is no post-cleanse tightness. Just 12 ingredients in total, vegan, cruelty-free, fungal-acne safe, reef safe, and free from harsh alcohols, common allergens, fragrances, oils, parabens, silicones, and sulfates.
